serves 3 -4
BEEF AND BROCCOLI STIR FRY
This recipe is a real hit!
1 pound of flank steak
1 pound frozen broccoli florets
Or California blend (broccoli Cauliflower and carrots)
Cook rice enough for 3 or 4 servings.
Slice flank steak into thin slices cutting aginst the grain.
Cut each strips into bite size pieces if desired.
Marinade the beef pieces, in soy sauce to taste.
With 2 heaping teaspoons corn starch, and 1 teaspoon sugar.
Mix well and refrigate.
At least 30 minutes or overnight.
Set out frozen vegatables to thaw.
Cook rice to directions, before start cooking.
Put it together.
In a large wok or a large non stick skillet, over medium heat, cook the beef uintil done.
and a combo of ovoo.(extra virgin olive oil).
Due to soy sauce and sugar the beef can burn so watch this close.
When the beef is done, move to a serving platter.
In the same wok or same non stick skillet, place the frozen vegatables,
You may need to add more soy sauce or olive oil to keep vegatables from sticking to pan.
Stir the vegatables to coat in soy sauce and extra virgin olive oil.
Cover the skillet/wok with a fitted lid.
Stir every 2 minutes, until the veggies are crispy tender.
broccoli still has a crunch.
Once the vegatables are done, add the beef back into skillet/wok.
Mix well to cover and make sure everything is hot.
When ready to serve,
plate the beef and vegatables over the rice, add additional soy sauce and enjoy...
